Leadli can now record WhatsApp calls and generate transcripts automatically. The recording and transcript are saved in the same conversation thread as your messages, so call details are easy to review later.
What’s included
- Call recording stored in the conversation: Completed calls appear in Conversations as a playable recording next to the related messages.
- Transcripts for faster review: A transcript is generated alongside the audio so you can scan what was said without listening to the full call.
- Searchable call history: Transcripts make it easier to find specific details later.
- Language detection: Transcripts are generated in the language spoken on the call.
Consent and caller notification
- Caller announcement: Callers hear a short message explaining the call is being recorded and why.
- Choose the announcement language: Select the language used for the announcement so it matches your audience.
- Customize the reason: Set the wording the caller hears so it aligns with how your business operates.
Where this is useful
- Agencies: Keeps a clear record of client calls for smoother handoffs and fewer misunderstandings.
- Real estate: Captures requirements and property details discussed on calls.
- Home services and trades: Helps document quotes and job details shared over the phone.
- Clinics and appointment-based businesses: Creates a reliable record for scheduling changes and instructions.
- Recruitment: Makes it easier to share screening call details with hiring teams.
- Coaching and training teams: Supports quality review and training using real call examples.
How to enable it

Why this matters
Calls often include important commitments such as pricing, scope, and next steps. Recording and transcription make those details reviewable later, reduce disputes, and make handoffs easier when someone else needs to pick up the conversation.
Note: Recording and transcription are currently free to use, but may become chargeable in the future by Meta.
