Overview
You can now search for words and phrases across your Conversations inbox and within an individual thread. This makes it easier to find a specific message without scrolling through long conversations.
What’s new
- Search across conversations: Find every conversation where a word or phrase appears. Results update as you type and include a short preview of the matching message. You can also use the same search box to look up a contact by name, email, or phone number.
- Search within a conversation: Search inside a single contact’s thread. Matches are highlighted, and you can move between results using the previous/next controls.
Filters
You can narrow results by date range, channel (Email, SMS, Facebook, WhatsApp, Instagram), direction, owner, attachments, and followers.
How to use
- Open Conversations.
- Select the search icon at the top of the conversation list.
- Type a keyword, contact name, email, or phone number.
- Select a result to open the conversation at the matching message.
- Inside a conversation, use the search icon in the header to search within that thread and move between matches.
- Use the filter icon to refine your results when needed.
Why it matters
This helps teams quickly find prior context like pricing, promised dates, issues, or product mentions without relying on memory or manual scrolling.
