Overview
Leadli now lets sub-accounts control whether the “Sign in with Google” option appears on the Client Portal sign-up and login pages. Admins can enable or disable Google Sign-In in the Client Portal app permissions. This helps businesses align the sign-up experience with their compliance and data-handling requirements (for example, GDPR).
Key highlights
- Google Sign-In toggle: Show or hide the Google button on your portal’s sign-up and login pages.
- Managed in App Permissions: Control is handled by the sub-account admin (no support ticket needed).
- Compliance flexibility: Disable third-party sign-in to better match regional privacy rules (for example, GDPR).
How to use it
- In your sub-account, go to Sites > Client Portal settings.
- Open App Permissions and find Sign-up & sign-in methods.
- Turn Disable Google sign-in & sign-up on or off.
- Click Save Settings.
Why this change
- Previously, Google Sign-In was always enabled, which could create compliance concerns for businesses operating under European (GDPR) data-handling requirements.
- Now, sub-accounts can choose which authentication options appear on their portal so the sign-up experience can match regulatory and business needs.
Notes
- When disabled, contacts can sign up and log in using email and password, or by using a secure code.
- This is configured per sub-account in Client Portal app permissions.
Available on the Client Portal Web platform.
